Award-winning projects

SafetyNets is a smartphone app developed to protect sex-workers from violence and harm, for which I provided copy and quality-assurance. The app was well-received by users as well as experts, and won Tech4Good’s ‘Community Impact’ award. More importantly though, it did its job of helping keep sex-workers safe – police have confirmed that at least one individual’s life was saved because of the app.

Gone for Good app

The Gone for Good app is a mobile app that makes it easier to donate large goods, or goods in bulk, to charity. For this, I provided copy, quality assurance, and animation scripting. The app was supported by British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, and The Salvation Army (as well as other charities) and won the Big Chip award for Best Not for Profit Project.
